shoe story.

so my mom bought these shoes from a garage sale a long time ago (last summer). she was about to throw them away, because they didn't fit her, so i said i would take them. the shoes were kept in the box in my room, untill i decided to use them for this art project. i looked at them one day and decided they weren't that bad looking at all. it's got a very classy, maybe even old-lady feel too it, but i like them. i usually keep my shoewear on a flat level, so i was very self-councious about wearing them. yes, they are only 2inches tall, but still.. they felt a bit too dressy for school. don't get me wrong, i LOVE LOVE high heels, but considering the fact that i am only a sophmore in highschool, i feel a bit weird wearing them for casual wear. does anyone else feel the same way or is it just weird me?

anyways, these shoes were only fifty cents! it's from "a dip in the pool collection", made in japan. i've absolutely no knowledge about this brand, but the shoes are very cute and in good condition! i've only worn them once to a bookstore with these dark blue bootcut jeans, but then i never wore them again. any opinions on the shoes?

You can wear them on new years eve? And I so agree. I've seen girls that are only 14/15 years old wearing really high heels to school. Not really comfy :P.

i love them! i'd never wear heels to school though.
i've just managed to watch breakfast at tiffany's, roman holiday and funny face in the space of two days.

i'm also a sophomore in highschool and occassionally i'll see girls wear heels to school, and unless they're excellently pulled-off wedges, i think heels to school is ridiculous. it's just trying too hard. there's a time and place for everything and school is the time for all my ballet flats to come into play, while heels are saved for partying.

beaautiful!

I love vintage shoes that are borderline naff! I like to called them Maggie Shoes after Mrs Thatcher herself.

Topshop are great at doing new designs.

...but bloody expensive.

I know what you mean about wearing heels to school. It doesn't help that I have the balance of a baby giraffe.

oooh there supernice. though i definitely agree, i think its bizarre when girls wear really fancy high heels to school. they look a bit silly. though those ones are more vintage-y and would probably work.

favorite zeppelin song: "babe im gonna leave you" or "dazed and confused" or maybe "misty mountain hop" or maybe "ramble on"

ohh its so hard!
what about you?

I would love to wear heels to school, but it's just stupid! Heels are for dressing up, not for school.

By the way... Do you want to trade links?
