karl lagerfeld shoots dakota fanning in several fairy tale settings, while she's wearing some of the finest clothes in vanity fair's january07 issue. the girl gets to play dress up in chanel, dior and christian lacroix couture... i'm jealous of a twelve-year old.
is it just me or does anyone else see the similarity?
p.s.- we'll be seeing angelina jolie on the cover of vogue jan07+the 50 best dressed of all time!

i just read that she's the new face of marc jacobs. unbelievable. i guess she'll be the new lindsay lohan.

she always looks ill
she looks quite younger than 12. she really is a lucky duck. i dont really like the dior dress, and now that i think about it, i dont really like karl, so im so-so about the whole ed.

Hahaha I thought I was the only one who saw the similiarity between her and gemma. I mean, I saw Dakota in that one Tom Ford Vanity Fair issue and I really thought it was Gemma. No wonder Karl has taken such a liking to Dakota.

i think she is the face of lv.. not marc jacobs. although jacobs is the creative director of lv..so i guess you could say that he handpicked her.
the new face of lv is actually scarlett johansson. you can see the pictures at fashionologie.com, they're really lovely.
a lot of blogs have been saying that dakota is the new face of mj, but i guess we'll have to wait till the jan or feb issue of vogue to see.
