christian lacroix, chanel and givenchy couture 2007 shows are now up at style.com!
isn't lacroix just beyond amazing? so much detail and so many intense colors are all put in one piece, yet it doesn't look like there's "too much going on". i don't know how he does it, but i am in love with him.
as for chanel, first half of the collection was a bore for me. meanwhile, the second half was impressive, what can i say, i'm a sucker for anything that's long, flowy and in the form of a gown.
chanel, chloe;just a littlt simliarity i saw.
i thought the runway set-up for givenchy was perfect, especially since the whole collection was partly inspired by the "metamorphisis of sailors into mermaids".
favorites are the same as last year for me, john galliano for christian dior and christian lacroix.

I can't believe I actually like Christian Lacroix's couture show! Not like, but more like love! The dresses are amazing. The shapes the colours the fabrics- I love everything really! Same with Givenchy, everything is so sleek and elegant, beautiful!
I like Chanel's dresses, but that's about it.
christians was ah-mazing. you are going to see them in concert? lucky. i don't think they are coming to my city, i have looked on their website and on teicketmaster, but nothing yet...

givenchy was awesome. Chanel, so-so for me. i don't see the "epitome of class" in the last dress (white). usually,the hype with the expensiveness and the crossed c's are bigger than the clothing itself for me. lacroix's models look like beautiful fairies with their branch-like headbands.
I just love couture! The yellow gown and first and last Chanel dreesses are so pretty!
