the chanel pre-fall08 collection reminded me of fall06, which i liked very much, way better than fall07 imo. you can also see irina singinig in the background, a bit of a distraction. favorites:
heidi mount looks similar to lara stone in this one, the piece on freja looks like the ysl ss08 plastic star piece and oo i miss the long hair already!
as seen on marc jacobs and chanel- bags with attached minis, like or dislike? doesn't look very nice on the chanel bag imo.
the potter gang- clémence poésy and emma watson- all grown up, looking good and barely recognizable.
now we sit back and wait for the couture shows.

I really liked the Chanel collection in London, everyone is mixed on it but I think its really good

Wauw, it's a whole lot better then Chanel's previous collections! Do not like the bags, but like the pants the model in pictue three on top is wearing!
i loved chanel pre fall so damn much.
I love the collection too. Quirky british. Always fan of the jackets in the Chanel collection.
I saw also some other models, very 30's : wide pants, blouse and extremly well-cut jackets. Not the usual Chanel, but much more elegant.
PS : it's not Clémence Poesy on the picture, but Cécile Cassel, another actress, sister of Vincent Cassel, who played the French thief in Ocean 12. Sorry for being a know-it-all, I'm just french.

I did like the collection though, especially after Karl's previous shoddy collections (denim overload, anyone?)
And the sporty hair and headband combos I heart, too.

it's amazing how emma watson went from a harry potter cast member to one of my fashion icons.
I was just about to post this, when you did! I love this collection, of course much more what I expect from Chanel than Spring08 which was weird...
I'm torn on the bag-on-bag action, it looks busy and not appealing, however there is versatility. I did like the bags on the shoes, I thought that was a great idea--but only for the daring/adventurous.
I really loved the collection! Very nice post!
I can't wait to hear how she sounded at the show.

I love this new collection, I didn't really like the S/S one, all those american stars and stripes... not my thing. But this, I love!
