paint on it like a canvas.

the paint effect with vibrant, lively colors reminiscent to a fauvists' palette looks amazing.

Beautiful colours and patterns. Those W shots are pretty lovely too, but i'm not so into this "lolita trend".

I love how it's random splash of colours. Like it would be a white canvas with warm and cool colours all over it.

you know you love me,

Yes - you are right, the 'painted-on' effect was a big deal this season especially at Dolce e Gabbana...

What a fantastic shoot! I loved that YSL dress, and am also a bit of an Ali fan, so I'm glad that shes being casted for magazines other than Teen Vogue; those TV eds were getting tres tiresome!

And I'm so glad that you're back and blogging after your summer.

To discothèque chic : YEAH, I mean Ali was in like EVERY fucking editorial. Girl crush okay, but to such an extended....they should let some other models have their big time in Teen vogue....

Oh, the vogue shoot you mean?

Yes, I'm not quite sure what the make of it. I liked the concept, but I'm not sure that it worked..

The whole harsh fem look only really works on peopple with model features, I think..

It's been ages since I blogged- glad to see that you've been more productive than me!

Lovely shoot there- sometimes I hope Vogue would whip up something like that. They're getting on my nerves with their unoriginality- and the fact that I keep buying the mag when I know it's crap!

I just finished a painting inspired by Fauvism (not knowing that post-impressionism was "in" this season). I guess great minds think alike.
