holyyyyy shit. Lanvin's sping08 ads have already started to pop up on the pages of vogue, and i'd say it's impossible to be not impressed by this. Alber Elbaz's genius design certainly catches your eye and i am so glad that they choose this particular dress. and the way they have the dress flowing throughout the page with Olga's pale white skin and that pose! it's all just too perfect. i can hardly wait for all the editorials and covers featuring Elbaz's wonderful spring collection.

The colour of the dress is amazing. Chloë Sevigny looked stunning in the shorter version at Paris fashion week. Alber Elbaz gets better and better.

Those ads are stunning. I really like how it folds and the skirt of the dress just becomes almost like a golden oil spill on the other page. Truly beautiful.

That's absoloutely gorgeous. It reminds me the birth of Venus painting. The orange, I guess. I like your blog :) Want to trade links?

If you do, leave your link with me at my blog. I blog surf through a proxy, so I can't see it :-P

the dress is just absolutely showstopping! i love how it looks as if olga's embodying the dress rather than her just wearing it and having it hang limply off her body.
if that makes sense.

That is one of beautiful ad, it's like a painting. The colours of the dress are so warm and regal but the back ground is strange and eerie. I love. Lanvin have amazing ads.

hahah! The holy shit made me laugh
when i saw this on fashionologie i almost hugged the computer...this ad is seriously mad gorgeous though - the lights, COLOURS, pose everything!

Anyways, I’m very excited to ask you something though. What would you think of joining a forum that includes a lot of bloggers. It wouldn’t be anything too big (but we’ll see) and I’d like a bunch of bloggers I know to come and just post on random things. Like a little catch up place where we can get to know each other and talk about fashion etc etc?

The forum is (haha I know cheesy name, but whatever :))

So theatrical!

Don't you think everything is rather art inspired this season?

D&G selling their dresses like artwork.. the YSL dresses and now this.

I smell a trend..
