fancy folds and geometrics- oh my!
seems like structure and enhancing the shapes have been popular lately. another trend that's been newly introduced is the origami draping. best known show that has featured this trend by the mass would be Galliano for Christian Dior's magnificent spring couture show. although it may be too dramatic and hard to wear, other designers have shown this draping in their latest collections in a much more subtle way. There's just something about the details of those simple folds that makes a look sexy and complete.

I like the Jermemy L most in terms of "wearability" because as you said its a lot more toned down, but the Anna Klein coat is fantastic too, very original.
The Prada Kate wears is lovely but I don't think she does it justice at all.

Love this trend. I much prefer the designers to focus on shapes better than colours. Very minimalistic, isn't it?
