i just really had to post this cover of Numero Nov06, because Gemma looks absolutely stunning. although this looks like a cover of a july issue more than a november, the combination of blue eyeshadow, pink lips and the beach blond hair is just so perfectly done.

on the other hand, the valentino fw06 ads makes her look really bad in my opinion. i know there are a ton of other ads that are worse than this one, like the bottega veneta ones with iguna (yawwnnn), but for some reason, this ad really disappoints me.

prada's glasses.

the moment i saw them, i was absolutely in love. i know it's a bit nerdy looking with its big sqaure lenses and even though it'd probably never look good on me, i still love it anyways. i don't know what it is about it.. possibly the fact that the stunning sasha is wearing them? lately i've been scavanging for the perfect&fashionable pair of glasses (due to the ocassional irritation from my stupid contacts) and i've come down to the decision that i might be purchasing the versace ones, modeled by daria and kate in the fall ads, or something very similar to it. the only letdown of this style is that everyone's wearing them. i mean, how cool would you look walking down the streets in thoes prada glasses?

as of now, i am on the hunt for the perfect boots. for me, I don't really like wearing high heeled boots to school too much. it's not that i don't like them, but they feel a bit too "fancy" for me. soo, i was shopping online on Anthropologie and heres what i found.

i was aboslutely stunned by her amazing feautures when i first saw her on the July W issue, posing for the looks of fall. how could anyone not be? she has the sharpest cheekbones i have ever seen in my life! she's a necomer from Holland, and hasn't been around the world of fashion for long, but she's already been named beauty icon on style.com, which is "a monthly look at the faces that have made history." yes, she has already made history. & yes, she's that good. can you believe that she was sporting red dredlocks when she was discovered? gosh, i can't even imagine. this girl has definately got some character.

item of the week "Karl Lagerfeld's aural obsession is almost as well-known as his aesthetic one—he owns upwards of 70 iPods and needs every gigabyte to hold his collection of over 60,000 CDs." 70 iPods?! 60,000 CDs?!!! that's crazy! we'll just let the 2 disc set containing his favorite tracks and selling at the price of 26 dollars, also known as Karl Lagerfeld: Les Musiques Que J'aime be the judge of weather or not his taste in music is just as good as his taste in fashion. I'm the not biggest fan of Karl, but I certainly will be checking this out. maybe if I listen to it enough, it'll give me a hint of Karl's genius in clothes!

i saw the first picture of Chanel's spring07 collection and was a bit frightened to see Daria wearing a see-through shirt, which was topped off with other pieces that were very classic Chanel and lady like. i had thought that the rest of the collection were going to be ruined by these ugly shirts, which i was very wrong about. the collection was composed with pieces that were just classic Chanel; clean-cut and very feminine pieces, with Karl's addition of the modern vibe of course. i love Chanel.

the Chanel shades this season are just wayy too cool.

i lovee the accecories this season. i especially love the silver chain bracelet.
