you could call this a lazy post.

i thought i'd post this since coco's one of my favorite models out there. check out coco rocha's favorite picks from spring 2007 couture. of course the yellow givenchy dress was on the list, it's really hard not to fall in love with that one.
jeanpaul
i thought she looked so stunning in this jean pual gaultier.
"I was so nervous in this show--the stairs were a little intimidating but the clothes were so amazing, it was all worth it."

trousers and such.

trousers
saw these trousers from acne jeans and at first glance, i really wanted them and thought they were the loveliest trousers. not so sure now, because they seem like one of thoes things where you try them on and they look horrific. i bet it wouldn't look so good if her knees were bent and she was pulling on that belt strap. then maybe i'm wrong. love it or hate it?

acne jeans
there's something i really like about this one. i wouldn't wear the boots with it though.
acne jeans 2
the color is nice, looks like it has a nice loose fit. i think it's thoes boots that makes the outfit look so good.
acnejeans8
thoes shorts reminds me alot of prada. not a huge fan of jean jackets but love it here.
acnejeans 4
color of thoes jeans are great, but that granny look from the last one kind of ruined it for me.

4. i can move my pinky toe without moving all others

5. sweep is my all time favorite series, i love lord of the rings and i also have some love for star wars

6. for some reason i really want to get my eyebrows pierced.

ah, yes!

christian lacroix, chanel and givenchy couture 2007 shows are now up at style.com!
lacroix
lacroix1
lacroix2
isn't lacroix just beyond amazing? so much detail and so many intense colors are all put in one piece, yet it doesn't look like there's "too much going on". i don't know how he does it, but i am in love with him.
chanel
as for chanel, first half of the collection was a bore for me. meanwhile, the second half was impressive, what can i say, i'm a sucker for anything that's long, flowy and in the form of a gown.
chanel-chloe
chanel, chloe;just a littlt simliarity i saw.
givenchy
givenchy1
i thought the runway set-up for givenchy was perfect, especially since the whole collection was partly inspired by the "metamorphisis of sailors into mermaids".
favorites are the same as last year for me, john galliano for christian dior and christian lacroix.

couture.

spring2007 couture shows are out!! check out christian dior, valentino and elie saab! i haven't had any time to actually look at these, but things are looking pretty good. john galliano produces another set of outstanding, fabulous, totally inspirational and unique designs that you can't take your eyes off. valentino's collection was very classic valentino and every piece, so soft, elegant and dreamy, are bound to make your mouth water. as for elie saab, flowing gowns in metallic shades and the sofest shades of blue, black and pink- thank god there were no more gold!

denims and such.

i'm not a huge fan of the wid leg denim jeans, although there are exceptions if they are very well tailored (like the ones on kate moss below), but i am becomming a huge fan of the wide leg denim shorts. like these ones below from alloy, i am seriously considering buying online, which i rarely do because you never know how they will actually fit you.

these striped skinnies from delia*s were just too cute to resist. i'm worried about the fitting though, it kind of looks weird on the model. i think it'd be better if it was high waisted also.
kendra sailor pant;$39.50
most wanted!: another denim trend for spring/summer is high-waisted. i love love these, esp the hulsey strutter from sass&bide below.

finally, a love it or hate it item:
victor&rolf cotton dress; $980

okay, i'll admit it..

i am obssesed with cate blanchett. she looks stunning in everything she wears and her role as katherine hepburn in the aviator was just too incredibly well-played. there is an upcomming movie on bob dylan called i'm not there, where seven different characters will embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work. and cate blanchett is to be playing one of thoes bob dylan characters (pic at the very bottom, left corner). christian bale, richard gere, heath ledger and ben wishaw are also to be playing dylan. anyways, doesn't she look stunning in that green dries van doten?

please make the technology, so i can turn up your love like some cold machine.

edit// shit, this one is even better.
dolce&gabbana spring07
bright, metallic colors just makes everything more brilliant.
dolce
favorite ad so far this spring: dolce&gabbana.
i'm dying to see the lanvin ones though.

she's back in black.

mariacarla
really, boscono looks good in
anything. i personally think that the long, dark locks suits her better though, i was actually really glad she went back to her natural. and don't you just love her bangs? love the messiness feel to it. i think i might try to achieve this hair cut sometime. but this is mariacarla boscono we're looking at here, so it might not look as good on me.

just because she wore it..

doesn't mean it's fashion forward!
or you could just listen to ny times' urban eye:
"Obsessed with the Heidi braid Sienna Miller wore to the Golden Globes? (Cathy Horyn called it a “brilliant, strange choice,” brought on by Ms. Miller’s “English sense of irony.”) Though you may not be able to mimic the British demeanor, you can get the hair, in one of two ways. Pay a visit (and a few thousand dollars) to the Oscar Bond Salon in SoHo, where, after four or five hours worth of extensions, you can come out looking like a haughtily fashion-forward starlet too. If your budget is more factory-girl, check out the clip-on pieces from Ken Pavés, Jessica Simpson ’s main stylist and BFF."
out of all the choices, why did sienna chose the heidi braid for the golden globes? even more rediculous, why would anyone ever want to go through five hours of hair extension and pay hundreds of dollars, just to get that look?
here's people.com's best and worst hair of the golden globes. these ones are just excruciating.

as for the dresses my absolute favorites of the night was angelina jolie in st. john and jennifer garner in gucci.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
mose annoying- beyonce's too-tight golden dress. i don't care how bootylicious she thinks she is. and the pounds of makeup eva longoria put on that face of her's.

cate wear alexander mcqueen. love it or hate it? i don't really like how it's cut in the front.

my favorites of the editor's picks.

just another thing i love about style.com- the editor's picks . they always seem to have it right on, of course becuase they're the editors, and everything included is just fabulous. here are the favorite beauties and accessories from spring2007.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
first up is the beauty look from stella mccartney. skin that's glowing and flawless, they must've put on the best foundation that has ever existed on this damn planet.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
metallic eyelids from chanel. it's so pretty that it hurts my eyes.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
the punk pixie cut supported by agyness and cecilia.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
sideswept hair, barely there lips and thoes edgy eyes from rag&bone.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
flowers were blooming everywhere at alexander mcqueen, even on the shoes. lovely shoes.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
shades from balenciaga. doesn't balenciaga seem to create the most controversial pieces? first the shoes (the media was bashing the shoes when seen on MK, ugh!) and volume from fall06 and now, these shades. i would actually wear this one on the streets, even though i may get a few laughs..
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
clear, geometrics from oscar de la renta.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
the infamous shoes that broke under iekeliene's weight & lovely hats/headbands from marc jacobs.
