#3- shu uemura's rouge unlimited lipsticks. the collection comes in 48 shades that you can mix together to create your very own lipstick color. couture lipstick. they even come in blue-to add depth and yellow to add warmth. they sell for $23 dollars each, so 23 times 48 is.. $1104. wow. they do have some lovely shades, but i wouldn't buy them to mix. way too expensive.

#14- bubblegum lips were hot on the ss07 runways of new york. so think pink for spring!


nars schiap; i love this color, but to wear it i'd probably tone it down with a bit of light pink. sells for $23.

the lovely lancome proenza pink. created by gucci westman for the ss07 proenza schouler show, lancome is going to be producing a limited amount of these babies, which will go on sale this march only at neiman marcus. we all know this is going sell out very very quickly. i love the color, it's perfect for summer and a day at the beach!

estee lauder sweet lychee; pale pink with a bit of metallic shine. i don't really like this color, probably because i can't see myself wearing it. but i do love the berry fizz and ripe papaya. each sells for $22.

dior pink legend; a very classy and elegant pink. perfect for the evening.

ysl venus rose; another lovely pink, that's very fresh and perfect for spring! i think i might actually get this one. sells for $27.

shoe story.

so my mom bought these shoes from a garage sale a long time ago (last summer). she was about to throw them away, because they didn't fit her, so i said i would take them. the shoes were kept in the box in my room, untill i decided to use them for this art project. i looked at them one day and decided they weren't that bad looking at all. it's got a very classy, maybe even old-lady feel too it, but i like them. i usually keep my shoewear on a flat level, so i was very self-councious about wearing them. yes, they are only 2inches tall, but still.. they felt a bit too dressy for school. don't get me wrong, i LOVE LOVE high heels, but considering the fact that i am only a sophmore in highschool, i feel a bit weird wearing them for casual wear. does anyone else feel the same way or is it just weird me?

anyways, these shoes were only fifty cents! it's from "a dip in the pool collection", made in japan. i've absolutely no knowledge about this brand, but the shoes are very cute and in good condition! i've only worn them once to a bookstore with these dark blue bootcut jeans, but then i never wore them again. any opinions on the shoes?

okay. so everyones been talking about dakota fanning being the new face of marc jacobs. yes, it bothers me because of the fact that she is a twelve-year old! contrary to what most people think, i actually think she's a cute kid, so i wasn't really bothered by it. i just really really hope we don't see this smile in the picture beneath, because it's kind of not-so attractive.

washingtonpost.com's milan's beef about skeletal models talks about the shrinking size of runway models over the past few years. following madrid's ban on skinny, milan, the bigger, much better known fashion capital, has decided to develop a nationwide campaign to fight anerexia. but, it is yet to be determined on how they will take this plan into action.

karl lagerfeld shoots dakota fanning in several fairy tale settings, while she's wearing some of the finest clothes in vanity fair's january07 issue. the girl gets to play dress up in chanel, dior and christian lacroix couture... i'm jealous of a twelve-year old.

is it just me or does anyone else see the similarity?
