london calling.. and i never felt so much i like!

giles deacon, gareth pugh, todd lynn, christopher bailey.. (do me daily) are all the designers that i have been obsessing over lately. i don't really seem to be craving the romanticism that have been getting all the rave for this spring, but i seem to be wanting the tough, sexy, rocking look. anybody with me? one glimpse of thoes giles deacon shoes in his spring collecion and i knew i would fall in love with the rest. and how could that gareth pugh possibly not stand out with his wacky, outrageous, dramatic designs? if not a fan of high-dramatics, perhaphs you should check out todd lynn and his simple, clean-cut, rock style- he designs for rockers such as mick, keith, bono and manson- sounds good? and last but not least, christopher bailey's designs for burberry prorsum always seems to be a success. his fall collection is one of my favorites so far this season- really you should check out the whole thing for yourself, it's very pleasing to the eye and will make you wish that he would be so kind to give his whole collection to you. okay this is a really hard (kind of fantasy) question, but i can't help but ask now that i've brought up the topic- if you were to choose a designer, dead or alive, to give you a wardrobe make-over who would it be?! would it be alber elbaz, mary quant, coco chanel, phoebe philo - oh the possibilities are endless, at least in my imagination.

i love bleached jeans and i might even be bold and purchase white jeans for this summer. lovely bleached chloé jeans for $192.

today is a snow day and i am feeling nautical.

for some reason, the idea of sailing on a summer day is very appealing to me. i don't really like the open sea, fear of sharks, drowning, etc., so i've always dreamed of going on lake michigan, which i got to sight this past summer while visintg chicago (northwestern uni)- absolutely beautiful. so now, sailing is on my things to do list before i die, has anyone gone? i used to dislike nautical/sailor clothes, thought they were too plain, but it seems like it's all i've been lusting after lately. so it'll definately be one of the trends i'll be including in my wardrobe this spring/summer.

ever since i spotted this bag, i've been salivating over it. maybe most of you are thinking, what's so special about it?- but i just love the simple and uniqueness of the bag. it's really the little details that makes me love the bag even more, look at the design of thoes straps! and plus, i am so tired of seeing thoes brown chloe-like/hobo bags that everyone in my school seems to own. oh, and don't even get me started on thoes hollister totes. anyways, after spotting keira with the bag, i seem to have fallen even more in love with the bag- and i am extremely jealous. i also want thoes pink chucks of hers (i have never owned chucks, don't hit me!)

rag&bone; favorite looks were both worn by irina. love the tough-military feel to the outfits and thoes shoes on the right- i must buy some for fall.

yigal azrouël; very loose and casual. it's usually all black and grey for me in the fall, but the green and mustard yellow combination is one that i will be trying out.

when her name is mentioned, one thing always comes to mind: skinny. she has been accused so many times of having eating disorders and suffering from anerexia- just look at her legs! most people say that they don't like her because of how skinny she is. i personally like her as a model, and wish that she would be able to continue her career on the catwalks. but there have been numerous rumors going on that she will be close to absence on fashionweek this feb. yay or nay? what other models do you think are going to dissappear?
