i thought i'd post this since coco's one of my favorite models out there. check out coco rocha's favorite picks from spring 2007 couture. of course the yellow givenchy dress was on the list, it's really hard not to fall in love with that one.

trousers and such.

saw these trousers from acne jeans and at first glance, i really wanted them and thought they were the loveliest trousers. not so sure now, because they seem like one of thoes things where you try them on and they look horrific. i bet it wouldn't look so good if her knees were bent and she was pulling on that belt strap. then maybe i'm wrong. love it or hate it?

there's something i really like about this one. i wouldn't wear the boots with it though.

the color is nice, looks like it has a nice loose fit. i think it's thoes boots that makes the outfit look so good.

thoes shorts reminds me alot of prada. not a huge fan of jean jackets but love it here.

color of thoes jeans are great, but that granny look from the last one kind of ruined it for me.

christian lacroix, chanel and givenchy couture 2007 shows are now up at style.com!

isn't lacroix just beyond amazing? so much detail and so many intense colors are all put in one piece, yet it doesn't look like there's "too much going on". i don't know how he does it, but i am in love with him.

as for chanel, first half of the collection was a bore for me. meanwhile, the second half was impressive, what can i say, i'm a sucker for anything that's long, flowy and in the form of a gown.

chanel, chloe;just a littlt simliarity i saw.

i thought the runway set-up for givenchy was perfect, especially since the whole collection was partly inspired by the "metamorphisis of sailors into mermaids".

favorites are the same as last year for me, john galliano for christian dior and christian lacroix.

spring2007 couture shows are out!! check out christian dior, valentino and elie saab! i haven't had any time to actually look at these, but things are looking pretty good. john galliano produces another set of outstanding, fabulous, totally inspirational and unique designs that you can't take your eyes off. valentino's collection was very classic valentino and every piece, so soft, elegant and dreamy, are bound to make your mouth water. as for elie saab, flowing gowns in metallic shades and the sofest shades of blue, black and pink- thank god there were no more gold!

last but not least, sharlom harlow at christian dior- so amazing, takes my breath away!

denims and such.

i'm not a huge fan of the wid leg denim jeans, although there are exceptions if they are very well tailored (like the ones on kate moss below), but i am becomming a huge fan of the wide leg denim shorts. like these ones below from alloy, i am seriously considering buying online, which i rarely do because you never know how they will actually fit you.

these striped skinnies from delia*s were just too cute to resist. i'm worried about the fitting though, it kind of looks weird on the model. i think it'd be better if it was high waisted also.

i am obssesed with cate blanchett. she looks stunning in everything she wears and her role as katherine hepburn in the aviator was just too incredibly well-played. there is an upcomming movie on bob dylan called i'm not there, where seven different characters will embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work. and cate blanchett is to be playing one of thoes bob dylan characters (pic at the very bottom, left corner). christian bale, richard gere, heath ledger and ben wishaw are also to be playing dylan. anyways, doesn't she look stunning in that green dries van doten?

really, boscono looks good in anything. i personally think that the long, dark locks suits her better though, i was actually really glad she went back to her natural. and don't you just love her bangs? love the messiness feel to it. i think i might try to achieve this hair cut sometime. but this is mariacarla boscono we're looking at here, so it might not look as good on me.

just another thing i love about style.com- the editor's picks . they always seem to have it right on, of course becuase they're the editors, and everything included is just fabulous. here are the favorite beauties and accessories from spring2007.

first up is the beauty look from stella mccartney. skin that's glowing and flawless, they must've put on the best foundation that has ever existed on this damn planet.

metallic eyelids from chanel. it's so pretty that it hurts my eyes.

the punk pixie cut supported by agyness and cecilia.

sideswept hair, barely there lips and thoes edgy eyes from rag&bone.

flowers were blooming everywhere at alexander mcqueen, even on the shoes. lovely shoes.

shades from balenciaga. doesn't balenciaga seem to create the most controversial pieces? first the shoes (the media was bashing the shoes when seen on MK, ugh!) and volume from fall06 and now, these shades. i would actually wear this one on the streets, even though i may get a few laughs..
